March 2026: Hibner Adds More Author Events

Perry Hibner, author of the book Centennial Revisited: An Oral History of the Epic TV Miniseries, will spend three days signing books in Colorado and also has additional events planned in Florida, Missouri and Wisconsin in the coming months.

Hibner has a busy schedule in Colorado. He will discuss his book and sign copies at the LINC Library Innovation Center in Greeley on Friday, April 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. He will share stories about his book at the Voices of Colorado book fair in Loveland on Saturday, April 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. And he will sign books and talk with Centennial fans at Books on Main in Fort Morgan on Sunday, April 19 from 10 a.m. to noon.

In addition, Hibner is working on having a table for fans to purchase books at Book Fest in Fort Collins on Saturday, April 18 and may schedule 1-2 other events that weekend, including at one of the bookstores in Longmont.

“Fans of the miniseries know that much of the filming took place in Colorado so it only makes sense to spend time there promoting and signing books,’’ Hibner said. “I spoke with a number of Colorado residents for the book and I know how much Centennial means to them. I can’t wait to talk with them. And I promise it won’t be my only trip to the state.’’

Hibner has also scheduled a book signing at the Library Center in Springfield, Mo., from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 24. The Library Center is the largest in the Springfield-Greene County Library District. He is working to finalize an appearance at the Lebanon-Laclede County Library in Lebanon, Mo., on Saturday, April 25 in the late afternoon.

Hibner had already announced he will appear at the Missouri Cherry Blossom Festival in Marshfield on April 24-25 and sign books from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Hibner’s table will be next to the table of Gregory Harrison, who played Levi Zendt in the miniseries and was interviewed extensively for Hibner’s book.

“I’m just trying to make it easy for fans to get the book,’’ Hibner said. “If they can’t attend the festival in Marshfield, maybe they can make one of the other two events in Missouri. And even if they don’t buy the book, I’m thrilled to talk with them about it.’’

Hibner will talk about the book at two events in Orlando earlier in April. He also is scheduled to sign books at Prairie Pages Bookstore, 113 W. Main St., Sun Prairie on Saturday, May 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will be his first event in Wisconsin. He also has an event scheduled at the Portage Public Library on Wednesday, May 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. Hibner is a Portage native.

“It’s going to be a busy next few months,’’ he said. “It should be exciting.’’
