September 2026: Dorrance adds video, website on book
The publisher of Centennial Revisited: An Oral History of the Epic TV Miniseries, has produced a website with information about the book along with a nearly 2-minute video.

Hibner selected Dorrance Publishing to handle his first book in September 2025. Dorrance spent the fall reviewing the manuscript. A book cover was completed early in 2026 and the Centennial Revisited was released in March 2026. To date, the book has ranked as high as 103,000 among 7 million books available on Amazon.com and as high as No. 19 among 7,000 selections in the TV-media production category.
Dorrance Publishing was established in 1920 by Gordon Dorrance. It is considered America’s oldest publishing services company.
Among the books Dorrance has published include The Bonapartes in America (1939) and Away From the Here and Now by Clare Winger Harris, a pioneering science fiction author, in 1947. In 1955, Dorrance published a volume of poetry titled Ommateum by A.R. Ammons, who went on to win the National Book Award in 1972 and the National Book Critics Circle Award in 1981.
In 1973, Dorrance published The Navajo Code Talkers by Doris A. Paul. It remains the single most comprehensive historical account of the contribution of the Navajo Americans during World War II. It has more than 50,000 copies in print and was adapted into the film Windtalkers in 2002.
Hibner’s book contains more than 75 interviews with cast, crew, extras, locals, experts, and fans. Among those interviewed were Gregory Harrison (Levi Zendt), Barbara Carrera (Clay Basket), Cristina Raines (Lucinda McKeag Zendt), Cliff DeYoung (John Skimmerhorn), William Atherton (Jim Lloyd), Stephen McHattie (Jake Pasquinel), Kario Salem (Mike Pasquinel), Mark Harmon (Captain John McIntosh), and John Wilder, who adapted the James A. Michener best-selling novel for television and was the main producer. The book also includes excerpts from more than 60 primary sources.
Centennial Revisited was published by Dorrance Publishing and released on March 11. The hardcover and e-book are available on the Amazon and Barnes & Noble websites along with in bookstores. The hardcover, paperback and e-book are also available on the Dorrance Publishing website.
