October 2025: Hibner Heads East to Discuss Book
Perry Hibner, author of the soon-to-be released book Centennial Revisited: An Oral History of the Epic TV Miniseries, spent three days in Pennsylvania promoting the book.
Hibner toured the Michener Art Museum in Doylestown on Thursday, Oct. 16. Marketing and communications director Brad Sanders also introduced Hibner to staff and had to discuss the oral history book. Hibner also had the opportunity to talk with museum visitors about his book and answer their questions.
Hibner also spent Oct. 16 and 17 at the Michener Society Annual Conference in suburban Philadelphia. Approximately 20 members of the Society were in attendance. Hibner had a chance to talk with each member about the stories he heard from cast and crew of the miniseries regarding Michener and shared some of his favorite anecdotes in his upcoming book.
Hibner was also asked to talk about his book during the Michener Society’s annual meeting, which included additional members who attended virtually. Members also encouraged Hibner to participate in a panel discussion in Greeley when he visits Colorado to promote the book in early 2026.
On Wednesday, Oct. 15, Hibner also met with his team at Dorrance Publishing in Pittsburgh.
